About
A love of fine wine and hospitality in equal measure: Varinder and Anita, owners of Copia Vineyards and Winery, produce small lot, award-winning Rhône-inspired blends. He from an engineering background and she from the world of restaurants, together they came to Paso Robles to make wine one small lot at a time. Copia’s picturesque Willow Creek estate, with 20 acres under vine offers stunning views of the rolling hills of westside Paso Robles. Jeb Dunnuck has reported on their inaugural vintage: “… if these first releases are any indication, the future is very bright for this team.” Enjoy warm hospitality with wine at their elegantly modern downtown tasting room. Private experiences also available upon request.

We really enjoyed our visit here. The wines were great and the winemakers were very friendly. We wanted to try some new wines from smaller wineries on this trip, and this was hands down the best experience. It was clear that they are very passionate about their wines.

Great small production winery is Paso. They have a downtown tasting room and you can also taste at the owners house and look over the future site of their winery!

Home tasting was exceptional and done by Sarah! View was amazing looking over their newly planted vines and literally you are sitting outside the owners house.

Order the cheese plate they source it locally and it was amazing($16) be sure to order in advance.

The wines, the setting and the story we all amazing abs we will be back!

A small group of us visited Paso Robles from Texas this week and based on some very good reviews about Copia on various wine blogs, we made an appointment at Copia for wine tasting and food pairing with a local restaurant. We had a private sit down and tasting in a lovely setting. The wines were wonderful and the food delicious. But the BEST part was the very friendly service by Taylor, and wine overview and visit with owner Anita. The whole experience, including the booking process with Sarah, was fantastic!

I did not get to the tasting room because I was too late to get in. The tasting room looked very nice and I will try it on my next visit to Paso. I did meet the owners at the Rhone Rangers experience and tried their wines. I enjoyed the wines and found the owners to be knowledgeable and great to talk to. I liked the wines and owners so much that I joined their wine club.
