Visiting family nearby during Spring Break so we stopped by to see the Gates of Hell and the Thinker but we were entranced by the driftwood horse and the history of the art gallery. A beautiful space.

This is a nice building on the outside, befitting a university of Stanford's caliber. However, it is currently closed. There are no signs indicating when it will reopen, and the website indicates no future exhibits are yet scheduled.

This is a great way to spend a little time if you are on the Stanford campus. They have quite a nice collection and it is not too big. Also, the building is really very lovely.
