If you're going to visit Stanford university, a good stop is the Hoover tower. It's close by the university offices and business faculty. You can take nice Pictures by the tower and water fountain.

This is the icon of Stanford, and worth scheduling a time to go up the tower. You'll certainly take a picture from several vantage points on Stanford.

Worth spending the $4 to go up in the elevator to see the views from the tower over the campus, out to the mountains and the bay.

A tower with history descriptions about president Hoover. There is an elevator to the top. Nice view of Stanford campus.Somebody said meetings of a think tank of top rated people arranged here.not sure about it.
