Greens, low rise buildings, yellow stone wall, red tops, fountains, palm trees and .... Beautiful sunshine and blue sky. It looks a resort rather than university. Good place to study at.

The style of the buildings was a surprise for all of us. We weren't really certain what we expected but it wasn't what we say. They are beautiful. What's not fun about looking around on a college campus.

Since we live not far (12 minute car ride away), some late afternoons we take a stroll through some of the gardens and wooded areas. It's a beautiful diversion from our daily routine.

You can book walking tours online. Got to visit.stanford.edu website and following the instructions.

You can easily just help yourself and do a self-guided tour. Otherwise participate in an official Campus Walking Tour and spend an hour with a student guide exploring the highlights of Stanford’s beautiful campus. A great... More
