As the name says, it's in the desert, but covered by green lawn, creating a peaceful atmosophere. We went early in the morning while it was cool, and waited till the gate was opened. It was quiet and pleasant. After placing flowers on my friend's wife's memorial plate, we sat in the folding chairs and looked at a photo album and talked about the fond memories from 40 years ago. There were a couple of people visiting their loved ones' resting places.

My Mother has been buried here for 13 years this month and I didn't think a cemetery could get much more depressing, but Congratulations! You have achieved it! No more colors of the beautiful flowers which once upon a time adorned many of the graves. As I visited today it was even more depressing than the norm. As I looked out over the normally, picturesque landscape, I could probably of counted the graves which had flowers on them, on one hand. I must say it was very unsettling, to say the least. The "ONE" pleasure I think most people may have, when one comes to visit a loved ones grave, is to be able to decorate the grave with a little bit of color, usually with flowers or plants that their loved one may have enjoyed. I realize running a cemetery and maintaining the grounds probably come with it's own set of challenges, however, cemeteries for years, have been dealing with these challenges and have not put such restraints on those families, whom are simply trying to deal with their loss. You say, that you care about the families that entrust their loved ones, remains with you. I'm sorry, if I have a hard time believing the sincerity of that statement, when it seems to me if that were really true,, then you would somehow find a more amicable solution to truly comfort them, and find a plan that would allow families to adorn their loved one's graves, once again, without removing all the flowers on a daily basis.

I wanted to see a cemetery. This was the best to see!

Most of the people buried is with a plaque or put in a place with many others.

There was a statue of Jesus.

It is well taken care here!
