After dinner, we spilled out onto the strip for the VillageFest. It was totally fun. Lots of gift items. I bought a gorgeous cactus night light. Love it!

This is a lot of fun to do when it's not too hot. We went on a particularly scorching nite and it was better when it's a bit cooler. I did make up for it with a giant snow cone but it wasn't enuf!! Tons...More

I was in Plam Springs while on vacation and heard about this street fair. It was ok if you have nothing else to do. I got the kids a shaved ice and some bracelets with their names on it. If you have nothing else to...More

Just happened to be staying at the Calla Lily Inn, and the hostess, Laura, suggested it. Nice little street fest, with some interesting artists.

Lots of vendors selling their wares. Good place to get out and enjoy the area. Was a hot night when we were there, so that did take away some of the enjoyment.

Not so great! Maybe because it was very hot that night. Not as many vendors as usual. They need new vendors. I have been before during the winter months and it's more enjoyable then.

Lots of great "motels" with tons of character. You'll get the real feel of Palm Springs at any of them. If you want higher end, the Hyatt is there but I'd try the local ones instead.
