My husband and i were married here in October of 2011. It is a beautiful location and the family is wonderful with wedding arrangements. Our wedding singer was a no show and the owner, Mr.Moorten, was prepared with wedding music! Thank goodness he saved the day! Our families so enjoyed the landscape and all the variety of cacti. Great photo... More

I wasn't sure what to expect from the street but this place was pretty gorgeous. It was really interesting to see all the different cacti; living in the desert, you realize you really haven't seen them all. We got so many cool photos of cacti here and it was a fun visit for a chill afternoon.

This is a lovely place to visit. I learned so much about the different types of cactus and euphorbia that live in my area. I'm so jealous of the beautiful specimens of exotic cacti.

My husband and I toured the Moorten Botanical Garden in January 2017. Admission is priced at $5/adult which is an exceptional value for the experience. We were very lucky to arrive when a garden tour had just began. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about local cacti. The garden is chock full of interesting and crazy-looking... More

I have never been to a cactus garden so it was nice coming here. Entrance is $5/adult and $3/kids. There's plenty of street parking as well. There is plenty of outdoor cacti. Some have flowers sprouted from it and my favorite is a cactus turned to a tree branch. My most favorite part of the venue is the cactarium. There... More

If you have a few extra minutes or half hour, you can tour this great botanical garden on the Moorten property. A $5 fee will give you a self guided tour of cactus local and imported from Mexico. Mr Moorten is more than happy to answer questions. His parents started the garden when he was a young boy. Lots of... More

Amazing variety of cacti growing along winding paths, all with stone plaques stating what each is and where it is from. Smaller, more rare plants can be found in the Cactarium which are worth seeing for their uniqueness (and the welcome shade from the outdoor sun). The garden is small and easy to see quickly if necessary but you could... More
