Do you like cactus or want to learn about desert landscape? IF so, this is your spot. The owner is a local celebrity and we really enjoyed this for about an hour I would say.

A wonderful little stop! Lots of great plants and trees. Also an easy walk. In addition to the cacti and desert plants, the garden is filled with beautiful hummingbirds. You can also purchase a cactus or plant to take home. Friendly and helpful staff.

We drove by this place twice before realizing where it was exactly. From the outside I wasn't expecting much; but as soon as you walk inside the gate you can see the beauty it has. All of the different types of cacti and scenery are captivating. We must have taken 100 photos. The turtles and the doves were awesome. And... More

A delightful walking tour through the largest collection of cacti one will see anywhere. Entrance fee was $5. Worth a desert visit.

So many cactus varieties. Compact enough for a brief visit. Cool in among the cactus. Self-guided tour so you can walk through at a leisurely pace. Take your camera. Many sizes of pots available at a reasonable price.

Many years ago we visited Moorten's and everything was well cared for and maintained. Those days are gone. Simply said, it is not worth one's time. Overgrown, unkempt and just deplorable. Save your money and go else where.

There are a lot of plants to see in a close area including hundreds of cacti varieties. Some are big, some are small, and the cactigorium (or they call it something like that) is great for pictures. The turtles near the entrance are also amusing, one does laps in the pen while the rest sit around and do nothing. Worth... More

This is one of Palm Springs' little gems. Cost was $5 a person. You can walk throughout the garden and learn all the desert native plants. They also have a little nursery where you can buy plants to take home with you.
