Being a pilot this peaked my interest. Having seen a number of air museums, this one will be remembered. What I found the best part was having a person (docents) to walk around with us and both explain the different airplanes and tell their personal story. Our docents was a Vietnam vet with over 200 mission. Also, check out their... More

A must see while in Palm Springs. The planes are very impressive. We especially were interested in the WWII display as both of our fathers served. Quite the collection of aircraft!

Run by veterans this is a really cool visit just a few minutes from central Palm Springs. There is a large selection of planes from ww2 up to very recent which you can admire with the expert friendly help on site. There are many other exhibits including originals weapons and uniforms as well as photos and diaries. You can also... More

We visited the Palm Springs Air Museum to see aircraft from WW11, but found the facility had much more to see. There was the Pacific Hangar with displays on Pearl Harbour and planes from WW11. There was also the European Hangar with more planes, including a British Spitfire. The highlight for us was the B17 Bomber. For an extra charge... More

Well worth a visit! Takes a couple of hours to take it all in. Plenty of good photo opportunities with the amazing old planes. All the volunteers are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If going to Palm Springs its a must!

This outing was planned more for the husband but I found it an excellent adventure too. We went on a Saturday and through Memorial Day, every Saturday they have guest speakers give talks and then there is a flight demonstration. We thoroughly enjoyed the talk, the exhibits and seeing a plane used during WW2 take flight. But the icing for... More

We visited the Air Museum when we visited the area last week. The price to get in was reasonable and the staff very friendly and very informative of there displays. They had many vintage planes and the histories of them on signs. Many of the staff are volunteers and each very knowledgable of the displays. They have a small cafe... More

Excellent museum, lots of aircrafts in beautiful condition, including MK 14 spitfire in flying condition. Lots of enthusiasts walking around more than happy to impart information about the display aircrafts. Many of them are ex- pilots.

We took our 9 year-old grandson. He was fascinated with the planes, the simulators, the film about the torpedo boats, and particularly getting inside the B-17 bomber.
