This is an amazing place to visit. Alone, with family little children or friends. My eleven year old boy loved to see the airplanes and he learned in a movie about how America was forced into World War Two. He said "Mom why do people fight?" He then, in the computer room assisted by very nice and friendly people learned... More

I have been to a few air museums and this one is great. The presentation of the planes is well done and the models and story boards are worth a look. The volunteer that showed us through the B17 was the absolute best. His attention to detail and knowledge of the plane and flight crew conditions was second to none.... More

Wow what a great place to visit. All volunteers run the museum, it's very important for our children to see and learn about WWII. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This is an amazing place to understand and explore many aspects of history. The docents are excellent and are very friendly. They are willing to explain details and involve children in the exhibits. The static displays are outstanding and there are some interactive elements as well. Some of the people there have been part of the military and have great... More

You could spend hours in this place, as there is so much to see. There are numerous displays detailing different battles, etc. There are plenty of helpful staff on hand who are happy to tell you lots of interesting facts and stories. Well worth a visit.

Third year running having a day in this wonderful museum, always something new to see and the docents are excellent. Perfect setting too, at the edge of the airport.

The Palm Springs Air Museum is filled with a huge number of military airplanes especially from World War II, but also from Vietnam War, and World War I. I spent 4 hours there, but a visitor can cover it all in 2 hours. The museum includes a B17, The Flying Fortress from WWI. This was an amazing flying machine that... More

All the airplanes in this museum or flyable with the exception of maybe one or two. A well-funded organization this collection was once owned by a private individual Many of the veterans that hang out on the floor I experience flyers of the aircraft that are on the splay. Visitors will get a unique view and perspective by talking to... More

We only had a couple of hours to spend at the museum and it wasn't nearly enough time to see everything. The docents working at the museum were retired veterans and were knowledgeable and helpful. Most of the aircraft were beautifully restored, a few were works in progress. And each display had excellent information. Aircraft are shown in three air-conditioned... More
