Very interesting hike of moderate difficulty. A real desert oasis. Palm trees are unusual in this natural setting. Don't miss the short walk to the nearby waterfall.

This is a beautiful place surrounded by palm trees. Outhouses are available at the trailhead. The hike is a little lengthy, and I saw many people turning around before crossing the stream. Just a short distance on the other side of the stream the vista...More

Stepping into a palm tree oasis, imagining what it may have been like 400 years ago, makes this trek spectacular. Not a hard hike, do the loop from the trading post, come back in Victor trail. Early morning start keeps you clear of the folks...More

For sure visit at least once. The contrast and history with the desert is amazing. Out house facilities suck but hold your breathe.

We go here every time we come to Palm Springs. Very good. Lots of trails and clean. WE always get a sandwich at our nearby deli and a bottle of wine and have a picnic here. Well worth it.

We read previous reviews and decided to go there to walk to the waterfalls. After the falls, we looked down into the palm canyon and thought we'd hike down. So glad we did!!! I had never been to a true oasis and this was gorgeous!...More

Well worth the $9 admission ... a true Oasis experience... Very popular Note: there are actually 3 canyons in the Indian Canyon area: Palm, Andreas, and Murray. Palm is the most visited and has the Trading Post. Parking can be tough if it is busy,...More

Probably the best attraction of the unique Indian Caverns. We are talking about a perfect blend of hiking, walking, scenery, pictures, picniking. The trails are impeccably maintained & the main (easy) trail leads you right down to the floor of the canyon. It is for...More

We spent a few hours walking around on a couple different trails. The palm oasis area was particularly interesting since neither of us had seen a oasis. Very nice trails -- some more difficult than we could handle.

I'm sorry I don't know, we use timeshare trades or VRBO (vacation rental by owner) for our stays of a week at a time. Maybe VRBO or air B&B?
