Follow the Stars that are embedded along the Drive and see how many you recognize. Unfortunately, my kids needed their Google app; nevertheless, these stars are a tribute to the artists who contributed much to Hollywood. The Movie Colony residential area is nearby, so one...More

Busy main street in PSP. No bike lanes but people don't drive too crazy. Very wide sidewalks. You can take Palm Canyon Drive for miles!

On Thursday evening they have a street festival which brings out TONS of people and is really nice to walk around after dinner. Overall a fairly good collection of shops and restaurants.

We drove around on our own, but also booked a three hour guided tour, which I highly recommend. The two major downtown Palm Springs streets still have some historic buildings. There is a street fair during some evenings that has fun food and music.

So much fun and energy on the Drive. Fun to shop during the day with plenty of restaurants. Lots of interesting people watching. Make sure you attend the street fair every Thurs nite.

There are film offices and studios in Palm Springs but you'd have to call them individually regarding "visits" and tours.
