On Thursday evening they have a street festival which brings out TONS of people and is really nice to walk around after dinner. Overall a fairly good collection of shops and restaurants.

We drove around on our own, but also booked a three hour guided tour, which I highly recommend. The two major downtown Palm Springs streets still have some historic buildings. There is a street fair during some evenings that has fun food and music.

So much fun and energy on the Drive. Fun to shop during the day with plenty of restaurants. Lots of interesting people watching. Make sure you attend the street fair every Thurs nite.

Highly recommend the street fair that is once or twice a month. Many vendors out along the closed streets mixed in with the open shops and eateries. Can be a very peaceful evening just taking in the scene.
