Nice place to stroll

We enjoyed strolling down the shops and restaurants in this area several days. We brought the dog with us and many places are pet friendly.

This is the main street of Palm Springs, lined with shops and restaurants. We drove through and admired the 1950's style buildings. We stopped near the middle and walked a portion of the street and enjoyed looking into the small shops along the way. Art, statues, and plaques commemorate the movie stars and entertainers that made Palm Springs a popular... More

Some cool shops. The modernist art souveniers are best, books and other intersting items. There are your typical souvienier shops as well. Trinia Turk is here if you are into color and high end fashion. Thursday nights the street is closed for local artists and food stands. Restuarants on Palm Canyon are very touristy however and the food is only... More

Meander down this street on foot if possible as there are many nooks and crannies to explore and visit with the locals and have a nosh. We just wish we had more time to take it all in but will definitely be a return visit!

This main street in Palm Springs is where most of the action is. There are shops and restaurants for great dining, shopping, and people watching.

If you take your time you can watch people on BENCH Swings....Kinetic Art bobbing up and down. There are 3 galleries and one block south of Palm Canyon is the Palm Springs... More

One gets a sense of the uniqueness of Palm Springs on this street. Lots of little stores and restaurants, some museums and similar attractions. The stores are not really high quality and those that feature nicer things are quite expensive. However, the streets are not crowded, nobody bothers you and you can find all kinds of cool things to look... More

The shopping was surprisingly terrible here. All the restaurants looked great but the stores were basically super cheap hippy dresses. Nothing boutique like at all. Obviously there were souvenir shops galore but I was super disappointed walking around here looking for cute shops.

LOVE just walking Palm Canyon Drive and popping in and out of stores, and enjoying the great signature look of the tall palm trees. A great "first thing" to do when you get into town.

Take a stroll, its worth the effort. So many interesting places for window shopping & eateries for a drink, meal or snack.
