It's full of interesting restaurants and bars. There are two art museums within walking distance of it. It's also got a lot of shops - including some great priced clothing boutiques. I think one was 16 for any dress in the store and 22 for any pair of shoes - my wife got 10 dresses . . . Simply put... More

Main drag with a multitude of great dining spots. Can recommend Jake's, Sammy G's, Las Casuelas Terraza, Kaiser Grill. Have stayed at the Hyatt in the past, prefer to rent larger house with private pool now.

We returned in May. The first night was warm and wonderful to sit outside at the restaurants. There is lots of cafes, places for drink, and shops. By Sunday it was rainy but it was still pleasant area to be at. Its the main tourism area of Palm Springs.

A lovely place to visit. Clean tidy and beautifully warm and sunny. 35 degrees C when we were there in late April. Town centre is fantastic with great shops and restaurants with wide range of dining experiences from simple to fine dining. they have a market on the main drag on Thursdays which is fantastic. They close off the street... More

We enjoyed strolling down the shops and restaurants in this area several days. We brought the dog with us and many places are pet friendly.

This is the main street of Palm Springs, lined with shops and restaurants. We drove through and admired the 1950's style buildings. We stopped near the middle and walked a portion of the street and enjoyed looking into the small shops along the way. Art, statues, and plaques commemorate the movie stars and entertainers that made Palm Springs a popular... More

Some cool shops. The modernist art souveniers are best, books and other intersting items. There are your typical souvienier shops as well. Trinia Turk is here if you are into color and high end fashion. Thursday nights the street is closed for local artists and food stands. Restuarants on Palm Canyon are very touristy however and the food is only... More

Meander down this street on foot if possible as there are many nooks and crannies to explore and visit with the locals and have a nosh. We just wish we had more time to take it all in but will definitely be a return visit!
