This is THE commercial district. You can spend several hours going up and downthe street with many unique shops and restaurants. Make sure you visit the Northern end with all the Modernist galleries.

As soon as you enter Palm Springs there is a vibe that is so cool and relaxing. Palm Canyon Drive is full of many restaurants that vary in price and menus, including Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese, steak houses, American and Italian. There are shops that offer something for everyone from your typical tourist shop to upscale galleries and boutiques. On Thursday... More

Shops are open later into the evening which is good especially in the summer heat. The Rock n Shake Bar is one not to miss, there will... More

Lots of small unique shops, restaurants and coffee houses on the route. Main Street of Palm Springs, fairly typical of many downtown areas.

This is where much of the eating and shopping takes place in Palm Springs. If it isn't on Palm Canyon Drive, it is nearby. Walking it is good, driving not so much....

Driving on Palm Canyon Drive is alive, many different shops of different taste for everybody. And many great great restaurants. There's always something going on downtown.
