A can't miss trip is one up the Tram in Palm Springs. One of the best things is you are almost always guaranteed a great view of the Valley to the Sultan Sea. The ride up is comfortable and with the rotating tram gives everyone...More

Don't worry about where to stand on the tram ride as it rotates and all spots provide incredible views. At the top it feels like you are top of the world. Great facilities, great fun! My family and I can't wait to go again.

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is a must-do attraction if you are traveling to the Palm Springs area. The drive to the tramway is longer than you would expect, but it is worth it. The ride to the top of the mountains provides a breath-taking...More

We loved it up here, it was a great break from the heat and a nice time walking around up there with great views. It's a bit expensive but fun!

I had not been up the tram since the last century and I was so glad I returned. The ride up features a revolving cable car so you get 360 degree views on the ride up and down. The hiking trails are very good and...More

On a rainy February weekend, we decided to get away and went up the Palm Springs tramway into heavy snowfall. It was gorgeous to trod through the pine forest in the snow and much fun for SoCal raised kids who rarely get to experience snow.

Nice relaxing ride up the mountain with walks at the top, we took a picnic lunch but the ground squirrels ate most of it.

14 of us...adults and children, went up before the sunset and had a wonderful dinner at Peaks Restaurant. It was entertaining and a little hokey but we all had a great time. The meatloaf was great and was definitely the most popular entree. It is...More

Rather suprised by the good quality of the food at the Tram. particularly the fish and chips which was as good as any I have had in Palm Springs and that is coming from an englishman who knows a bit about fish n'chips.

Palm Springs tram is a great way to escape the heat and do some hiking. And enjoy the views of the Coachella valley.

Today's high is expected to be in the mid-40s, but we cannot predict what it will be by the end of May. You may wish to check our five day forecast shown on our website closer to your visit date.

There really is no "best" time. It all depends if you want to hike, see the daytime view, see the nighttime view, have lunch, have dinner, etc. Last tram goes up at 8:00 p.m. and last tram goes down at 9:45 p.m. Thank you.
I'm going tomorrow on 4/3/17, is there going to be snow and should I wear snow boots for the cold or normal hiking shoes?
