Located in downtown Palm Springs (with a branch location in Palm Desert, CA), the Palm Springs Art Museum offers compelling art exhibitions from national and international artists. The museum's extensive permanent collection includes significant works by modern and contemporary artists, western, contemporary and glass artists, and features several temporary exhibitions throughout the year. The museum is open free every Thursday night and the second Sunday of every month. It also offers a range of theatrical and musical performances in its Annenberg Theater. Throughout all these programs, the museum is dedicated to creating memorable and inspiring interactions through educational and cultural opportunities.

Have visited the Palm Springs Museum several times. I have a short attention span, so it's perfect for me. Not too big...not too small...just right. Definitely worth a visit!

Loved the art collection! Very well designed and divided in different sections that makes visiting really interesting and very flowing. They had the Kinetic exhibition on when i visited and I've find it mind blowing., you must try the Light rooms. Absolutely mesmerizing!

We stopped by here to get a break from the heat but we're very happy we got the opportunity to enjoy the exhibits here. Not all of us are really into art but there seemed to be something for all of us.

The museum is open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm everyday but Thursday. Thursday hours are 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm (later hours to coincide with the weekly street fair) and admission to the museum is free between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
