We hiked up the San Jacinto Mountains via the entrance through the Living Desert. I would recommend it for experienced hikers, worth the 2 1/2 hr hike, take water and snacks. Well worth the views from the top of the mountain!More

This tour can be enjoyed by walking or riding in the tram. You can stay on the tram for a 15 minute trip through the living desert or get off and on at designated "shuttle" stops. There are live presentations such as the cheetah run....More

Living Zoo and Gardens is not to be missed adventures. Grounds well kept, plants nicely labeled. Don't miss the trail leading to the mountain from back of Gardens. Great for while family.

We love this place! If you are considering a visit more than twice during your stay purchase a membership. My kids really enjoyed petting the goats, feeding the giraffes, and he overall layout of the zoo. The trains are amazing!

Yes they do. .They also have light weight senior assist chairs. There is a lot of walking and the paths are paved and wide.

Yes, we have adult push-carts available free of charge, but we ask for a small donation. The push-carts are at a first-come first-serve basis.
