The staff that works here really loves this place. They give thoughtful lectures and are so incredibly patient in answering any questions raised. It's obvious they love the mission of the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. As indicated, it's really hot here in April. Bring...More

Living Desert Gardens was a worthwhile trip in Palm Desert for adults and kids alike. It's a good walking experience or sign up for the $6 all day shuttle if you don't have much time or need help with mobility. The cost is reasonable per...More

We always love coming to the zoo when we vacation here. We did the package that included giraffe feeding, camel rides, birds and the carousel. I love the variety of animals.

Took the family to this zoo and the wife and I really enjoyed it. However, it was hot so the kids wilted quickly and wanted to leave; going early in the day when it's cooler would have helped. OTW it was very peaceful and nicely...More

I went with kids (9 and 6 yrs old). They had a blast. It is key to get there early if going during the warmer months. We loved the cheetah run (more like a cheetah trot), giraffe feeding, and camel ride. We should have arrived...More
