One of my favorite beaches in the Monterey Bay area. The park is located right next to a beach that is protected from the wind and a great place to hang out. There is also a public pool nearby and some shops to buy snacks,...More

When my husband and I got up early to watch the sunrise, we were very disappointed to see the amount of trash on the small beaches and all over the park. There are signs everywhere about not feeding the wildlife but the sea gulls were...More

This beach is perfect for families with smaller children, as there are no waves and it is somewhat contained to a smaller area. You can walk up the steps to get a better view of the coastline. On several occasions we saw sea lions playing...More

Great place for families to explore the tide pools at Lover's point which is below the park. Even with the overcast weather it was a great spot to relax.

What a fabulous park! We love to park at the lighthouse and bike the mile or so to Lover's Point. My small children like climbing on the smaller rocks, playing in the bushes, watching the ground squirrels, and eating lunch on our "Picnic rock" Sometimes,...More

Had dinner at Beach House at Lovers Point. The food was delicious. We had an appetizer of Firecracker shrimp, spicy but delicious. The clam chowder was excellent, very creamy, could have licked the cup. Their bread was freshly baked! The salmon and shrimp was fantastic,...More

Lovely place to visit. Great park, ocean views, grass picnic area and wonderful rock formations along the coast. My parents loved this place.

First, there aren't any swings or slides here. The park doesn't need them. There are multiple sets of stairs to get down to different little beaches. There are restaurants at the park. There is a kayak/stand up paddle board rental place here, too. It is...More

I do not believe the pool is heated. It is pretty new as they had a campaign to completely re-do it a few years ago. Now it is more of a smaller kids pool than a pool for adults. Has a ramp going down to enter the water.

First come basis as far as I could tell. Only a bike rental area nearby. No other concession area to sign up for them.
