Lovers Point was a short walk down the hill from our rental, and a nice stroll after eating at Peppers...what a wonderful panorama! Water, sand and mountains in the distance, breathtaking!

A bit tourist infested, but it is a resort town. Great photogenic trees, nice rock formations and the beach is warm. (Sheltered from the breezes). Good diving and snorkling. Place to rent kayaks and such in season.

This is a fantastic place to spend the day, or at least a few hours. The park has some interesting sculptures, a grassy area for napping or relaxing, picnic tables and a BBQ for a family gathering, and a gorgeous view of the peninsula. The...More

Second visit to lover's point. Excellent views, weather was perfect and a nice stay at the Knights Inn. Wild life included sea lion, otter, deer and sea birds. Go for the relaxation!

Lovers Point in Pacific Grove is a must see. I happen to be lucky to be staying at Seven Gabes Inn, which is directly across the road. Great place to relax and enjoy the views, park and water.

Spent our honeymoon right across from Lover's Point at the Seven Gables Inn in 1989. We've been back to Pacific Grove every year since (sometimes, several times a year).

Lovers Point is a very popular spot on the Monterey Peninsula and this beach is fairly well protected from the Pacific Ocean waves. Always lots of kids and families and reasonably sheltered from the wind.

A great place to just sit and stare or partake of the activities available, kayaks, and bikes. A really stunning view of the bay, lots of places to climb the rocks.

Lover's Point is known for a carpet of stunning, bright pink ice plant. I did a little research and learned that it blooms between early April through the end of May.

Can you bring a BBQ to this beach? Or can you bring items there to be BBQ'd?

I was just there this week end. I really don't know about taking a BBQ onto the beach but the nice park just steps up from the beach has built in BBQ's. The park has great ocean views and is just steps from the beach.

Not sure whether this is regarding Lover's Point but if it is, it's a public area so accessible to the Public, 24/7.
