Boatacious experience in watercraft and a fine experience in visiting a beautiful facility. The courtyard and entry has fascinating photos and maps of the Channel Islands. It is easy to overlook the map enscripted on the ground near the entry. If you miss it ask a staff member for guidance in locating the map. The water depth on the map indicates how the wildlife might have gotten to the mainland.
Classes in watercraft and sailing are offered and the second floor deck has a great view of the harbor.
Do not overlook the Maritine Museum next door. It is also worth exploring.
