Neighbor to the scenic Channel Islands, Channel Islands Harbor is a working harbor that offers fun-filled water activities for the whole family. About an hour's drive north from Los Angeles, the Harbor features several beach-lined parks and coastline for picnics and surfing, as well as nearby biking and walking paths. While at the Harbor, visit our many shops and dine at one of several restaurants with menus ranging from deli sandwiches to Brazilian cuisine. Be sure to check out the Channel Islands Maritime Museum with its ever-changing exhibitions, world-class maritime art, and ship models.

We'd been visiting up here for a few years and were astonished by how quiet and beautiful it is at this harbor. The restaurants were friendly, the beaches empty and the folks walking around were smiling and relaxed. Also love our farmers market on Sunday!!

Our boat went through the harbor out to our trip to Anacapa Island. We walked around the harbor prior after our boat ride and enjoyed all of the food and shops and thankful for public restrooms.

We mostly visit the harbor to walk. There are many beautiful walks available along the shoreline. I'd recommend Hopper Boat rentals to rent an electric boat or paddle boat. It's always a relaxing and fun thing to do. It takes about an hour and a...More

They charge you $8 to park. It's more a donation for nothing than something for your money. There is plenty of parking so it's not like your paying for something in short supply. I never saw any security in the 2 hours I waited for...More

I've come to this farmer's market every Sunday for the past month now, and I've not been disappointed. It's not a big farmers market, but it's got fresh seafood and fresh local produce and artist clothing. Hopefully this Sunday farmer's market will get bigger, this...More
