You'll love the real surf board with shark bite ... the real deal ... but some exhibits are directed more at surf nerds ... a great place to learn about the history of surfing and some interesting factoids that will amaze your friend and neighbors.

The museum is very nicely done. Neat, clean and informative. Viet Nam exhibit was very interesting and presented a side of the war I didn't know existed!

A super cool museum that had a lot packed into a small area. Surfboards through the ages, body surfing info and becoming informed on how surfing was such a refuge for our boys during the Viet Nam war. A must do in Oceanside!

Had friends in town and decided to stop in. It was amazing and so cool to see surfing throughout the years. My mom and dad surfed in the '60's so it was really fun to see the old stuff!

CA culture has been shaped by the surf culture and this is THE only surf museum where you can go to go see it. It is not a large place but full of history and explanations for those not deeply embedded in surf culture.
