I liked the California Surf Museum. Plenty of cool stuff and history of the sport. Learn about the pioneers of Calif. surfing. Surfing is now a huge industry, and this museum gives you perspective on the sport.

I went with our family visiting from AZ. We all enjoyed seeing the old items. The grand-kids were learning how to surf... this was very inspirational for them... and now they too are part of the SoCal surfing history.

A very nice museum. I left here very much wanting to grab a board and try surfing myself!! Many articles to read, and surfing videos to watch.

You'll love the real surf board with shark bite ... the real deal ... but some exhibits are directed more at surf nerds ... a great place to learn about the history of surfing and some interesting factoids that will amaze your friend and neighbors.
