They get busy so be prepared, since reservation is not required, it does offer some flexibility. Historically, the Mondavi played such an important role so i think it's very appropriate for first time Napa visitors like us to come here. The wines did not disappoint!...More

Visited this for a tasting and it was pretty expensive for what you received. The property is very nice & worth a walk around but the cost was high for tasting. Go to a smaller vineyard & you’ll get a better tasting.

I was pretty disappointed with our stop at Robert Mondavi, SO many people had told us to go here as first time visitors to really understand the wine making process and get an idea of how wine is made from start to finish. We booked...More

We came here as a last stop for the day to relax on their beautiful grounds & we were not disappointed. We were going to do a tasting, but the selection was very limited with set flights (which is the only reason for 4 stars),...More

It must be addressed up front that Robert Mondavi, in addition to being a well known winery, has a corporate feel to it. This is in part to the amazing success of the brand and the winery over the years. Once you get past this...More

Stopped by for a tasting, our second trip to this winery ... we were visiting our daughters family. We had her and our 10 month old grandson with us. It was a beautiful day, the grounds are lovely. But what made it perfect was Lois......More

Mondavi was our first winery stop. The grounds were absolutely beautiful! Myself and two friends experienced three different tasting flights. Each one was unique and decently described. We visited on a Monday afternoon and the winery was moderately filled. If you'd like to sit on...More

We came to California wine country to sample wines we cannot get back home, but we also wanted to see how wine is made. We were entertained by tour guide Chelsea at the craft winery Medlock Ames, and we enjoyed the history lesson host Dave...More

This is one of the big wineries but it didn't impact the service or ambiance. Nice patio to enjoy a glass or stand at the bar for tastings. Tours are available of course.

$30 mixed flight. It was a total of 4 wines, and about a 2oz pour. Good reserve selections. You can substitute if you’d like. For example, I asked to try the Rosé instead of the Chardonnay. This is a good winery to stop by during...More

No, it was not a bad experience at all. It just wasn't as great as some of the smaller wineries we visited. I'm not sure what you think they wouldn't sell me. I would have to go back to the review. Their gift shop was... More
