We planned a trip to visit Napa Valley over the New Year and of course we had to visit my husband's favorite wine maker. This was the only winery tour we took and felt the others could not live up to this one. We thoroughly...More

The worse I tried in over 12 wineries. The wine are over rated and I would not recommend. Staff have good knowledge.

I'm a local who has been to countless Sonoma and Napa wineries since the late 80's. Robert Mondavi Winery is one that I never have anything but an outstanding time at. Their sommeliers are excellent, their wine is incredibly consistent and the tasting fees aren't...More

The wines are really spectacular but this is a massive tourist attraction which unfortunately take the focus away from the wine. We purchased a $75 vertical tasting and we felt we intruded on the person serving us. Not good! Staff seem well informed and educated...More

For the best tasting experience book the Exclusive Cellar Tour (ECT) on-line ahead of time. After a short tour of the facility we were seated in tasting room in the basement that was very tastefully done. More importantly, the Reserve wines served were outstanding and...More

The tour was simple nothing really good over the top and it was not poor either. We visited December and it was not crowded at all. We paid $40 pp for a wine tour and overall it was "ok" , personally I felt the tour...More

Enjoyed a tour of the Robert Mondavi winery in Napa today. Weather want too great so limited time in the outdoors (rain) and then a leisurely and informative wander through the cellar and production facilities. There is also a not inconsiderable art collection on display...More

This is a place to visit even if you don't want to go to the "commercialized" wineries. This winery has a beautiful setting and an intimate tasting area. It was interesting that a majority of the wines at the winery are not the ones that...More

We spent couple of hours Saturday at noon to this emblematic vineyard, very busy, despite good attention by the team, we did the tasting in the patio, right next to the vineyards , wines of very good flavor and aroma.

The Oakville Grocery is just a half-mile south on St. Helena Hwy from Robert Mondavi. This is a great place to stop either before or after visiting the winery. Have fun!
