My wife dragged me here kicking and screaming. She'd been on the tour 20 years ago and thought it was a phenomenal look at a state-of-the-art vineyard in action. I, of course, was completely certain that this was going to turn out to be a...More

I was very excited to go to Mondavi at first because I really enjoyed their wine, but they're a bunch of jerks. I was carrying a paper bag with me and someone came up and assumed that we were eating lunch. In a VERY VERY...More

Doug our tour guide was amazing. I learned a lot from him. He is very knowledgeable and has a beautiful way to impart that knowledge without overwhelming you. He’s funny too.

we loved driving to Napa/Sonoma from San Fran (combined with our drive to Muir Woods), and just picked Mondavi as we were driving. Our trip was somewhat off-season, so we could just show up and sign up for tour. The property is gorgeous, our tour...More

The Signature Tour is a must do if you're interested in learning about the wine production process! The tour is $40 per person and lasts about about an hour and a half. Our tour guide was Arlyss, and she was amazing throughout the entire tour!...More

We took the 75 minute tour of the winery and had a great time. Not only was it informative, but the property was beautiful. Our tour guide seemed to know a lot about the Mondavi family and less about wine, but it was a fun...More

Robert Mondavi is probably one of the more famous wineries but it lacks the character compared to the others which we visited. Was rather packed for a Monday afternoon and the wine tasting was rather forgettable. Probably due to the lack of interest by our...More

Robert Mondavi has a very beautiful property. We stopped in to look around but did not indulge in any tastings. This is definitely worth the stop even if you're stopping in to see the views.

The Oakville Grocery is just a half-mile south on St. Helena Hwy from Robert Mondavi. This is a great place to stop either before or after visiting the winery. Have fun!
