Dim sum and other delights bring me back to the Oakland Chinatown. The food is authentic and the shops carry food items that are difficult to find. People are friendly and helpful.

O.k. I stretched it a bit, it is only like Hong Kong on the weekends. Waiting lines for the Tim Sum restaurants, sharing tables (sometimes if you want to eat). Streets crowded with people. Vegetables displayed on the street outside the stores. Trinkets galore on...More

We loved the Chinatown! Some great (and cheap) restaurants, plus art and clothing stores, grocery stores, you name it.
