Some really lovely old buildings preserved and reused as bars and restaurants. Lots of good good here, plus some shops. Apartments nearby. Great downtown area. Market on Friday.
It was such a treat to round the corner and find the beautiful shops and galleries! Not very big, but plenty to keep you strolling and shopping for a couple of hours! the architecture was especially intriguing-- art deco with California Mission influences.
walking and looking at the ships and the folks on the peir and shore is relaxing. great place to day dream and just breathe.
Nothing to see, nothing to do, no reason to go unless you need a parking lot or you have an appointment in one of the buildings.

Some nice historic preservation, right downtown. Some very good restaurants, bars, and a nice market. Good outdoor farmers market at least one day per week.

this section of town is clearly being renovated into multi use areas combining retail and restaurants with cozy living spaces. Interesting area.
