Friends who are supporters of the museum invited to give us a tour. An undiscovered gem. The displays are well executed, informative and interesting. Fascinating for aviation and war history buffs.

We drove to see this museum while in Novato but didn't realize they closed at 4...we arrived at 4:05---- darn. Maybe next time! Why closed so early in the day?!

Hamilton Field was a serious departure point for WWII planes, so this little air field has had a lot of history. The docents who volunteer are filled with information, so try to snag one to go around with you.
