Nice for a picnic

Parking is a little tough sometimes, so if you have access to a bike, use it. Nice grass for having a picnic and watching the boats. Stroll over to the Wedge and watch the surfers.

This park has gorgeous views of the Jetty and harbor as well as just steps from the world famous Newport Wedge. Great spot to sit on a bench and let your stress melt away for a hour or so.

My family and I always enjoy a bike ride to this park, to stay for a while and watch the boats come and go from/to the ocean to/from Newport Harbor.

Located right at the end of the peninsula, this park is right at the mouth of the harbor. You can look across the harbor and see "Big Corona", and you are right next to the Wedge. You'll see many boats, may see some wildlife, and is just very peaceful.

This ia a very nice out of the way park that is mostly used by the locals and bike enthusiasts. Be aware that there are no restrooms anywhere along here. Nice little place just to hang out for a little bit. On street parking in a residential neighborhood.

The very end of Newport Peninsula, this little park looks out over the Newport Marina boat channel. Literally 100's of boats put out to sea here' either under power or tacking their way back and forth across the channel. A great photo op.

This is truly a beautiful and peaceful place with an amazing view. We found several groups of people hanging out here with their dogs. You can see spectacular houses and palm trees. We happened to talk with a guy who gave us a whole history of the place. Easy to see why people hang out here. And yes, they filmed... More

Nice small park. You can get great photos of boat coming in the harbor. Walk out the Jetty on the rocks and watch the surfers.

From this location you can see much of the beauty of the Newport area. Across the Park is where they filmed parts of Gilligan's Island for those old enough to remember that television show. You will also see many yachts entering and leaving the harbor from here.
