Napa Opera House is a wonderful old 1870's beautifully restored theater. Staffed by volunteers and supported by the community and visitors. The programs throughout the year are varied and something for everyone.
We attended the HAPA concert and it was a great musical experience. Tickets are very reasonable and theater is located in the heart of Napa (the City), CA
Check their website and support this cultural gem.

The Napa Valley Opera House is a gorgeous facility. I enjoyed the shows more when the cushy seats were in place. City Winery has turned it into cabaret thereat, with food and wine and very hard chairs. That said, I still love it. There are a wide variety of good shows and the food is more than acceptable. It's a great way to spend an evening. I vote for eating downstairs first and enjoying the show with a glass of wine.
I live in Napa and have been patronizing the NVOH, since it reopened around 2000.

We came here for a group event and enjoyed an excellent meal along with live music. The food was small in size (by American standards) but superb in quality.

Show and dinner were great.... the wine was ridiculously priced, but we had fun. Sit in the second section for a great view and break on the price.

Great food and open late when most places are closed. Live music too. Very good prices on food and easy to get a table, parking right across the street.

Lovely facilities for First Taste Napa. Upstairs area was decorated beautifully and made it seem magic. Acoustics are pretty incredible as well. Visited after earthquake and flood downstairs in City Winery. Would not have known if not told so.

We have been going to shows here at this historic Napa Valley Opera House for years. We enjoy going. It is now run by the City Winery. As such, they now have dinners and more drinks with the shows they bring in. The show line up has also improved some with it now being part of the national City Winery "show" network.
Seating now is a lot more crowded than before.
The location is in downtown Napa by the river area.
its a fun thing to do to accompany a day of wine tasting.
