We are by appointment only. Please go to our website to inquire about our experiences. We do not take phone reservations. The cost is $40.00 per person. We regretfully are not permitted to have anyone under 21 years of age nor allow any pets on the premises. Our award winning wines come from our 40 acres in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. From grape growing to bottling, the entire winemaking process is managed at the estate. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our wines are sought after by collectors and have received many awards, including a recent 98 point score for our 2013 Unrestrained Reserve Bordeaux Blend.

If you are looking for an intimate experience with a first class winery, look no further. I spent a beautiful afternoon with my husband and parents taking in the scenery and sampling amazing wine and cheese. Our host Jason could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves but he doesn't have to as the wine sells itself.... More

After looking up where to wine taste in Napa Valley decided to stop at O'Brien Estate Winery. What a pleasant surprise to see that the reviews were correct. The O'Brien's home is on estate. What a beautiful view from their backyard where we really enjoyed our wine tasting with Julio. Julio was very knowledgeable about the background of the Estate,... More

Don't get me wrong - it was a nice tasting experience, but the tripadvisor reviews made it sound like it was something incredibly special. It is a lovely setting and everyone was friendly. Sitting outside to enjoy the wines was very pleasant, but they weren't really to my taste.

This was my very first wine tasting experience and I couldn't have been any more pleased. Shortly after arriving we were handed wine glasses with a pour of white wine. And these weren't three-sips-and-you're-done pours. They were "Welcome to our home, let's show you around" pours. I will admit that my friend and I were disappointed that they didn't offer... More

We enjoyed all of our tastings in Napa but this was the most intimate and fun tasting we had by far. We sat in the backyard and just had wonderful conversations with Luis while drinking beautiful reds and whites. Could not recommend enough! This is what Napa should be like.

We enjoyed starting our day with Jason at O'Brien. Our innkeeper suggested we visit and taste their red blends. So glad we did as we are now Wine Club members! Cheers!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful setting, amazing wine, and Jason was great! He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. You could also tell he was very passionate about what he was telling us! Would go back in a heartbeat! - Iantha, Randi & Hayley

In February, my sister and I planned a Girls Birthday Trip to Celebrate my daughter and my daughter-in-law’s Special Birthdays. When choosing the vineyard's we wanted to visit, O'Brien's was #1 on my list. I have LOVED O'Brien's "Seduction" since my first sip. Knowing how much I Loved Seduction and wanting to help make my daughter’s Birthday Special, my friend... More

What started as a 90 minute tour turned into a 3 hour visit, and we loved every second of it. The tasting, while pricier than those in Yountville, was far far better than anything else we did in Napa. The tour is a private experience - they don't combine parties into one tour. While Yountville's tastings felt very business-y (first... More

We visited O'Brien in January 2009. This was our first trip back and it was an equally enjoyable tasting. You won't get WOW'd by a fancy tasting room or beautiful amenities center. The story has been consistent -- it's about what's in the bottle and that thankfullly has not diminished. We were with friends new to the wine and loved... More
