Hess Collection is a great trip if you're in that part of the valley. The courtyard is nice to relax in, plenty of shade under the pergola to enjoy wine. The wines and the tasting are fantastic! I wasn't too impressed with the art collection,...More

We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed the wine and your tasting experience at the winery. Although art is very subjective, we are sorry to hear it wasn't your favorite and we do appreciate your insight.

Went for the museum. Interesting modern art. Well manicured grounds. Fancy wine tasting area. Spent quite a while talking to the gift shop guy. Learned about wine and cork. Didn't spend any money, but enjoyed the information offered!

We are happy to hear you enjoyed the wine and had a great experience with the tasting room staff. We love to hear when guests spot one of their favorite artists in our collection. Cheers!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting but would have loved to have someone who was a bit more educational and passionate about the wines. We were on a time constraint and unfortunately did not have enough time to see the artMore

Loved their wine and the setting. Did a $25 tasting for a flight of four wines. Part of the building was still under construction, and the second floor of the museum part was closed, but still, the setting was very nice. Controlled (waited for about...More

We just returned from Hess Winery. Super scenic drive up and back. Lovely garden area in front of a historically preserved building encased in ivy looking plants. Interesting art gallery on multiple floors all elevator-accessed. Very good wines especially the whites. My career before retiring...More

Visiting the grounds and the Museum is free. The winery tour and tasting is $25.00 per person for a 4-wine tasting. Some of the wines are only available at the winery.

Can we really just visit the art museum free without wine tasting or purchasing wine? We are not into wine.
