Will you only visit Napa once in your life? This might be worth a visit then. We are frequent visitors of Napa/Sonoma area and Chimney Rock has always been a "must visit. We enjoy their wine and always make sure to stop by. However, on our last visit we noticed that prices have increased for a tasting. You can have... More

We had a group of eight an a reservation. We were 30 min late because of traffic and they were very accommodating. Excellent wine tasting experience. BEAUTIFUL property. Try the tomahawk cab.

The place is very nice and the people are great!. But for my taste the wines were not that good and tasting were too much compared to the quality. But this simply has to do with my wine preference. I would highly Regusci next door, Caymas or one of favorites Brown!

The building, landscaping and barrel room are worth the stop. And I've had good Chimney Rock wine, but they were only offering tastings of five wines. No palate cleansing crackers or water, just standing at a bar, tasting their limited selection. Still in the top 20 for me, though.

The afternoon sun shown brightly on the Chimney Rock formation behind the winery as we drove into the property. Stunning! The wines are excellent. Expensive. As was the tasting. Perhaps no so for Napa. Although the tasting room was crowded and noisy we give 5-starts to the experience. If you go, request Cata. A seasoned professional veteran of hosting and... More

Chimney Rock has the best of Napa Valley wines. You can enjoy some really great red wines at this winery. The staff is always knowable and helpful to learn and taste the wines. The tour is interesting and helpful. It's expensive but worth tasting some of the best. Many different wine club members which helps with the expensive wine.

Had the afternoon to ourselves, the property & staff were truly noteworthy. Sal hosted our tasting and did a tremendous job of making us feel at home. Extremely knowledgeable about the intricacies of the wine, property & history. We will be back soon, Cabs are to die for!

Napa can be overwhelming. There are some huge names that everyone wants to visit, they are crowded, and sometimes less personal but this gem is the opposite. Chimney Rock has been in operation for a long time. Their wines are rated highly by experts. The tasting room and courtyard is a respite. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful.... We called in with no appointment and they were very busy but managed to fit us in. We payed for the $50 per person wine tasting which is way over the top as far as prices go, however no complaints as we chose to pay. The wine is very good here. The tasting glasses were huge and the amount was... More
