What a terrific tour of a beautiful, unique winery and nice wines!

Mike was a terrific host, walking us around the winery, and taking us through the different types of wines. He explained so much about the region and the history of the winery and local history as well. We completed our tasting inside and enjoyed the wine with some cheese and salami. Interesting architecture (by Hundervasser) and lovely wines in a... More

You don't find modernist ottoman chic architecture in all of Napa. So drop in (appointment only please) and check out the most sincere, sophisticated winerie in Napa. You feel the sincerity, intention, quality and passion during their tour. And you can't fake that. Let this be your first stop, if you're a wine newbie. I promise, once you go here,... More

This review is primarily about Aaron Pott (winemaker at Quixote) and his Pott Wines. Our Party of 4 had a wonderful time tasting wines and being regaled with tales with Aaron Pott. We joined 2 other couples to taste a number of Aaron's recent vintages. Aaron makes and I believe stores his wines a Quixote. The Quixote building is an... More

Mike was a great host, walking us around the winery, and taking us through the different wines. We completed our tasting inside with some cheese and salami. Interesting architecture (by Hundervasser) and lovely wines in a laid back setting. Appointments required, and tasting fee refundable on $200 purchase.

Had an appointment for tasting. Setting is beautiful, architecture is so interesting and amazing. They really don't want the focus to be on the buildings, though. For them, it's about the wine. And the wine is great! Best Petite Syrah ever. Francis (nice young guy) really knew his stuff, taught us a lot about wines and made the tour and... More

We loved the petite sirah and the wonderful cabs. This is not a winery for those who are looking for a bargain or a friendly wine tasting experience. They seem to only want to cater to the connoisseur. However we got past this and liked the wines enough to join their wine club...and this was our only wine tasting that... More

We heard about this organic winery from a friend and we found it very special as the winery itself was designed by Hundertwasser, famous Austrian architect. You only can visit the winery upon appointment which was very easy to arrange. From the moment you arrive you are taken care of as the most important client and visitor - a short... More

This was our second visit but our first tour. Initially we stopped in without an appointment upon a recommendation from another winery during a trip in the fall. Despite not having an appointment we were offered a small tasting and bought two wines. Based on the quality of wine and the uniqueness of the winery we brought our group of... More

I am writing a review not of the wine but of the service received when my group of four walked up to the winery to see it and perhaps make an appointment for a tasting later in the week. This winery was recommended to us late in our vacation, so as with all wineries, we simply wanted to make sure... More

What do you get when your architect takes 10 years to complete your project, doesn't believe in straight lines and wants to incorporate aspects of the environment into the design? Quixote Winery! Wonderful visit to this unique facility with an enthusiastic guide from the winery. Spent equal amounts of time describing the story behind the building as in describing the... More
