Found this company online and from first emailing them found them to be utterly professional. They hired a great tandem for us and from picking us up in San Francisco to leaving us in Santa Barbara John, the owner, provided us with 24/7 care and support. The bike set up was great with minor adjustments only required. John provided us... More

My brother, sister-in-law and I did the short paddle with Virginia. It ended up being a private tour because apparently no one else had signed up. I picked the short paddle over the classic only bc neither my brother nor my sister-in-law had kayaked before, and my sister-in-law isn't the most athletic. All 3 of us had the best time.... More

The Morro Bay "Half Day Classic" with Central Coast Outdoor was quite the highlight for me and the other 12 folks in our group. Starting with a short introduction and safety talk, the trip expanded into a gentle paddle to interesting areas in the bay. John, Virginia, and Mandy all had expertise that they shared about the flora, fauna, and... More

This was a self guided tour we did with bikes hired from the company. It was top quality in all respects. My wife and I have done numerous self guided tours in various countries. Many of them good and very good, but none as good as this. Outstanding turn by turn instructions. Great hotel and restaurant and lunch / coffee... More

We were impressed by this very professional and reliable company. The bikes were great, the pannier system was light and convenient and the detailed turn by turn instructions were very clear and made with a great attention to detail so that the route takes you away from the beaten path. John provided the extra mile by driving us around the... More

We had a great time during our half day tour. My step son was not as used to cycling as we are and it was great to have Craig with us, with the car for support. We had 3 wine tastings programmed, but our guide included a fourth, which was the best (Via Vega)! We had a delicious picnic at... More

We had a terrific experience on the short paddle tour with an excellent guide. It was perfect for two young families wanting to learn about the habitats and see many birds and sea otters. We would strongly recommend to others and hope to visit again soon.

We took the half-day kayak tour and had a wonderful trip. The itinerary is great –a visit to a wildlife sanctuary where we saw a variety of birds and some harbor seals, a visit to an oyster farm, a paddle across the bay and a hike across the sand dunes to the ocean. The paddling was generally easy, and it... More

Sunset paddle: kayak tour of Morro Bay. Starts 2 hours before sunset with good instructions and no need to step into the water (launch from the jetty). (You can get your feet wet stepping out of the kayak at the dunes, but you don't have to!) We were lucky to see so many different birds, identified by John, as well... More

The Central Coast is so picturesque! One can walk for hours and hours and still marvel at every cliff, rock formation, the beautiful ocean and life surrounding it. There is a multitude of hiking trails, some more physically demanding, other very easy walks, there are horse back riding tours and bike routes. Everyone can enjoy.
