Morro Strand has been a favorite of our family's for many years. The beach is very large and quiet, with few visitors. A wonderful place to relax.

This beach is just north of Morro Bay and is free for day use. Parking is limited but near the beach. Long flat and lovely beach. Can watch the pelicans fishing in the waves.

Loved the location and right next to the beach. Nice to have bathrooms nearby too. I'm looking forward to going back to camp.

compared to the beach in cambria the sand was softer here but the beach is not ideal for swimming as per locals. I enjoyed the sunset views here of the morro rock and the ocean

Long, wide and flat, it is a wonderful walking beach, with lots of sand dollars and bird life. Many access points make it easy to get to. Large enough to make you feel its all yours!

I love Morro Strand State Beach! I've been there twice now, and each time it was a wonderfully refreshing experience. No matter how many people there may be, it seems uncrowded. The beach is wide, with some little dunes, etc....the perfect spot for a family...More

Morro Bay is not warn. Compare it to Monterey. It can be foggy and windy any time of the year. No matter when you come make sure you bring warm clothes. I speak as an 18 year resident.
