This is a wonderful place to visit and simply take in the simplicity of wildlife. May I suggest camping at the state park, eating at Bayside Cafe, and renting kayaks for a morning boat ride through the bay? It's lovely. Photographers will be in heaven...More

Very accessible to those who are not brave enough to go out into the ocean. Full of life, peaceful quietness, and adventure. We saw so many creatures it was surreal. Just leave a small footprint to keep it special!

Peaceful place to bird watch. The ebb and flow of the tides is spectacular. You can drive by in the morning and it will be high tide and then in the evening low tide.

There are birds everywhere but you can walk out on the boat docks, around and on Morro Rock there are lots of gulls and Peregrine Falcons; if you can get on a skiff with Mike at (I forgot the company name - but you can find... More

Yes there are benches all around the waterfront, but not that many along the trails themselves. The boardwalk that skirts along the back bay estuary across from the State Park has benches every quarter mile or so. Does this... More
