I was on holiday in Monterey and visited this forest. Glad I did; it will hold a special memory for me as I witnessed a spiritual moment there one september morning in 09. Take a look at the image its right there.
Wheelchairs can operate along a path and just sit, delightful spot even to witness sunsets and sunrise. people can take pushchairs and picnic I guess.

Sweet location that you need to walk to get to (I.e. No parking along street or in a lot). Beautiful walk in a natural setting that felt removed from a touristy mix. However, there were quite a few people who seemed to have set up home in less conspicuous areas. Bottom line: great walk to do with another adult and not solo.

Would not go alone, but it is a pleasant area to walk through. Close to freeway and major street, but still full of native animals. Great to take photos!!

Pretty park, often frequented by the homeless. There are trails but it's not clear whom you might meet on them.
