Staffed by GREAT state parks volunteers. Nice displays about the village of Mendocino and the logging industry that built it. Great local art. Some videos to watch, too. Too bad the upstairs isn't restored and available to view.

Docents are not only friendly sources of history, but also of current challenges, opportunities. Photos, models, current art from schoolkids, including poetry, excellent!

We were greeted by a very friendly lady who gave us a brief history of the town and an overview of the museum. A great place to start your visit to the town of Mendocino.

Made the house so much more fun and interesting. The house itself is fine. Not much to learn but enjoyed the views from Windows and the displays.

The Ford House contains an exhibition of photographs, models and drawings that describe well the history and practices of the logging industry in and around Mendocino. Worth a visit if you're in town.

We stopped in for a map of the local businesses and were treated to a quick and informative history of this historic town. Well worth the time.
