The Kelley House told many of the tales of Mendocino and had displays that pointed to the importance of the logging industry in this area. Staff was very helpful and seemed delighted to give us their time and recommendations for lunch.

We participated in the historic tour of Mendocino and really enjoyed it. The tour guide impersonated William Keller of the 19th century. We walked Mendocino for 2.5h and learned do many interesting and fun facts. Really recommended.

We spent a very enjoyable time at the Kelley House. Sarah, our Docent, told the fascinating story of the house and family very well and was a delight to talk to about Mendocino more generally. Well worth a visit If you're in town.

The house was further up so it had a good view of the ocean. It was a very big house and the rooms were big. They had an old music box that still played. The docent showed a picture of one of the first 'selfies'.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining with a costume suite that was so authentic that it even showed the wear on the color and cuffs. They ask for a small donation $10 a person but this 2 ½ tour was worth more than that....More
