Great hiking trails, beautiful campsites, nice bathrooms. We used the campsite just for a picnic, however, the camping here looked very nice

This is a wonderful park to go for a long walk or to hike. It's quiet. It's lush. It's easy to get to from downtown Mendocino. There's camping, but we haven't done that.

The best access to the pygmy forest is by the road to the airport. If you pay the admission fee to the park you end up with a very long hike to the forest. It's a pleasant hike, but more than we were willing to...More

We hiked the whole trail, for us a 9.2 experience. One of the best workouts we've ever had and a treat to the eyes, ears, and noses the whole way.

They have a fire pit with a half grill. Its small and doesn't cover the whole fire pit. we have used it to roast corn on the cob and fish in tin foil
