Lots of variety in the large one-room museum. No entrance fee but a donation jar was located at the front counter.

Interesting museum with plenty of tools used in logging industry of a long time ago, also tools and implements found in households for the time. Free

The gentleman was very nice and explained everything to us. He answered all our questions and even let us touch and learn about the exhibits!

Even if you don't have family members sitting in the many yearbooks on the shelf, this is a great walk through history. There is always an eager volunteer happy to answer questions and tell you about the mill town.

We went into the museum and were really surprised, McCloud has an interesting history, and the artifacts on display (and there are a lot of them) illustrate that history really well. Plan to spend at least an hour.

This is a lumber town and one of the best in its time. The museum takes you back when McCloud was a boom town.
