I've returned to Zuma Beach, Point Dume, CA.,just north of Malibu for the first time since March, 1969. You now pay for parking but the beach is sooo nice. Used to come out from LA to watch the moon set over the "red tides". Great...More

The beach is fabulous and the lifeguards are top notch. Bathrooms are close and convenient also. We had no problem parking on the street because we were there in the middle of the week.

This was the beach we went to when I was a kid, and it is still breathtakingly beautiful. Great parking for fifteen dollars. Bathrooms are clean. Fast food joint is slow, but worth the wait. The people waiting in line are interesting. The beach is...More

This might be the longest stretch of white sand beach I have ever been to. It seems to go on forever. We were here early in the morning and people were everywhere. There were tractors raking the sand so the beach was very clean. We...More

Zuma Beach is one of the nicest beaches in Malibu to spend a day with family and friends. Perfect for a gentle swim.

Being from Texas, I have always loved California beaches. It was a fun day at the beach until we were ready to leave and we all had tar on our feet. I am used to this on most Texas beaches but was surprised and a...More

Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football
field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on
towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still
feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted

Hello, I am interested in going to the beach this weekend with my service dog. I am just double checking that as long as she has her vest and ID tag, I will not run into any problems? Have not taken her to California beaches yet since relocating. Thank you, Emily R

you should call Malibu city hall or Malibu Police...they'll be more than happy to tell you....on the other hand, a couple of miles further up the coast dogs can run free above the Ventura County line
