In reading the description I was totally looking forward to this experience, however my heart was sad in seeing the condition of this place and the life these animals live. While it's definitely amazing to have a wolf interaction, don't let this blind you too the conditions these beautiful animals must live in. The dessert much less the small areas... More

The place is pretty cool and the wolves are amazing to look at. However, the customer service is sorely lacking. Maybe something about being in the desert makes them sour? The lady at the reception was the nicest person ever. She had great stories and always took the time to make us feel at home. Tonya was nice enough. The... More

We got introduced to all the wolves at the sanctuary -each with their own story of tragedy, but also how they healed and adapted to their new environment. The highlight of the tour was petting Holan, one of the male wolves, and being able to take photos with him. To be near such a wild creature was an experience I... More

Off the beaten path for sure but they help with directions. The passion shown for these wolves was apparent as the spoke about them and their need to find a better location more suited for them. They are in a small spot in the middle of the desert with unhealthy industry nearby but it sure was a great time visiting... More

You get a personal type tour with small groups. Wolves are very beautiful to observe in their cage.. Most of the wolves have suffered from some form of abuse. These loving people bring them in a care for them unconditionally till the end, my hats are off to them.. I'm sure the summers get pretty hot so keep that in... More

This is a "Must See" for anyone's bucket list. From the moment I placed my feet on the grounds of the sanctuary I felt a rush of healing and spirituality. The interaction with the wolfs was beyond anything I can explain in words. I didn't want to leave! Tonya and her crew were honest and deeply feeling human beings. Tonya... More

Wolves are absolutely stunning and beautiful animals. I learned that when I was lucky enough to spend a month studying them in Yellowstone National Park as part of a college summer field course. As a biologist and someone who has studied animal behavior and conservation at various sites around the world, I was looking forward to seeing wolves and hearing... More

My wife loves wolves. This was a surprise trip for her - she had no idea where she was going. When we arrived, she said "oh dear" it's wolves in cages. To her surprise we had lots of time face to face time with three wolves. You have not lived until you have had a wolf kiss. We brought home... More

We went for a private tour and learned a great deal about wolves and wolf rescue. Some are super friendly, like big playful dogs! (Some are wolf/dog mix.) Tonya Littlewolf's rescue stories are spellbinding. Her love for the wolves, and their happiness enveloped us in a deeply spiritual way. Highly recommended if you love animals. I recommend wearing older clothes... More
