Easy and beautiful hike along the cliffs of the central coast. Short down and uphill walk to get to the main cabin but it’s mostly flat from there, with a bit of a climb onwards the end. We were short of time so went to...More

Beautiful scenery, pleasant weather just above ocean. Incline to reach station at start of hike is only possible difficulty. Hike after is all flat, and a complete joy. Beautiful formations of different kinds, lots of wildflowers. You will love it!

Access is through the southern boundary of Montagna De Oro State Park. The gates for access are open Thursday through Monday. You must sign a waver at the hut before walking. This is a beautiful, mostly flat hike along the bluffs and hills leading to...More

The trail is an easy hike, and the views are beautiful. The only thing I wish was different, is being able to get closer to the cliff edges for better views/photography. It’s obviously a safety issue, so I completely understand.... The bluff trail is right...More

The views are spectacular. The hike is not recommended for the novice but we're all 70ish and did fine. There are occasional benches but no toilets except at gate and parking lot. Mostly flat except steep entrance/exit. Take water and maybe a protein bar. Turkey...More

We saw whales, wild turkeys, ground squirrels, caves, quail! And of course every seabird. We will never forget this hike!

This is a hidden gem. The beauty of the rocks and the ocean remind me of Los Lobos State Park and other areas North on Highway 1. Great hiking trails and not overcrowded.

Although these trails are mostly dirt, there are some very rough spots for a stroller. It would be impossible in parts. Kind of in the same area, I would suggest the bluffs trail on Montagna de Oro State Park. You access... More

The trail as far as Disney Point is mostly flat and easy. Towards Windy Point you have to climb a hill but it's not difficult. Hope you enjoy!
