Went here last weekend while staying in Morro Bay. Was hoping to see birds but, hardly saw any. Still a nice walk and appreciate the wooden pathways in certain sections and the info signs that described the types of birds seen in the area.

Lots of birds, and since they have recently outlawed dogs it is more friendly for the wildlife. It's a small park so it won't take too much time.

This is an Audubon site so the area is protected including no dogs allowed. Bring binoculars for spotting birds in the trees as well as watching the shore birds. January is a good time to spot migratory birds!

I have been visiting this little preserve for 30 years. They built a new trail that is handicapped accessible and leads to a nice wood observation area. The new trail does connect to the old trail around the pond and the area facing the estuary....More

Sweet Springs is a small area but has great views and a small freshwater pond. Nice short walk to see nature among the eucalyptus trees.
