Testarossa offers some excellent pinot noirs, some that we have not seen in wine stores or restaurants. In addition, some of their whites are nice, refreshing, and worth tasting. The establishment is beautiful, the tasting room is alright, and the outdoor venue is above average....More

This is a fun place to visit one time and you should. When you enter the property, you are asked to get into two lines "Wine Club Members" (Free) or "Winery Guests" ($20 per tasting). To their credit, you will get a $20 credit if...More

They say every wine has a story. Well, how about the 4th longest continuously operating winery in California that was built and run by Jesuits for decades starting back in 1888. Testarossa Winery is a historic Novitiate in Los Gatos. The wines taste great, vintage...More

Racist server at wine room insisted that we are not American due to my accent. Despite my multiple attempts to evade his question and telling him we are from the US, and showing him we are unhappy with his persistent questioning he insisted on asking...More

Great spot for a relaxing team or customer meeting. We ate in the cave entrance. One of the staff explained a bit of the history. The buffet and table service is excellent. I definitely recommend this spot!

I visited this place few years ago and I loved their Pinots. This time, I felt the place had grown out of proportion and that wines had lost their personalities. The tasting room feels more like a bar in a nice winery setup. The waiters...More

I like the atmosphere and history of Testarossa, the wine is good. Watch for pairings, those are fun. I went to a chocolate and beer pairing and enjoyed it.

Great tasting event and worth the drive up. Two wine type a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. We enjoyed the Pinot much more. But wine is a fickle thing - others may choose the chard over the Pinot. I just like reds more. Enjoyed the time...More

There is handicap parking at the top of the road and it is flat into the tasting area, so a wheelchair or walker could easily get into the tasting room.

They have meat and cheese platters with some salad. Not an extensive menu but things to pair with wine. Lots of restaurants down the hill in Los Gatos. Search winebar107 menu to see the offerings.
