I saw another reviewer attended the Byrds concert on the 25th of July. Concert was great. Part of the beauty of the night was this theater. It was built in 1927 for United Artists to display silent films. It is like no other facility I...More

We came into town just to attend this concert. It was a fabulous concert- but that venue is phenomenal!! It is so richly decorated, kind of m Art Deco styled inside. Everyone was commenting on how beautiful it is inside. If you ever have the...More

I have attended two films here as part of the Los Angeles Conservancy Last Remaining Seats events. It’s a wonderful old theatre. It was purchased and restored by the the Ace Hotel. A real gem.

I particularly love the KPCC events, such as #filmweek oscar previews and film screenings. Conveniently located in the historic theater district in downtown Los Angeles. Plenty of...More

We saw Demetri Martin here and the venue is marvelous. Very ornate in an early 1900s style. The sound was fine for hearing a comedian but no sure how it would be for music. Decent beer and wine available that they let you take to...More

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants
