Awesome tour with Phil. He was informative and knowledgeable about the area. He answered every question we had ,by the way, since it was just my spouse and I the tour was a private one. We learned about the history, architecture and events that occurred in the past. Highly recommended

Toured the Arts District with Robert last week and was very impressed! Robert's knowledge of the area and the amount of research he had taken the time to do was evident each time we crossed a street or went around a corner. He had something to share about the long ago and current history of the Arts District and he made the tour very interesting and the two hours went by quickly. A very worthwhile way to spend an afternoon!

This was an intriguing, exhilarating, and informative tour of Hollywood history with Cheyenne. Her energy and enthusiasm was only matched by her knowledge and story-telling abilities. I was thrilled to get the inside scoop on the early years of Hollywood and the contemporary state of the neighborhood, not to mention recommendations for eating and drinking at 'old Hollywood' destinations. Cheyenne really knew her stuff and was, in addition, a great conversationalist. I highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I just finished a 2 hour tour with Phil. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour. Phil is very knowledgeable, professional and fun! It was interesting to hear how LA grew to be the city that it is today. We took the subway down and followed the detailed directions that were emailed to us. It was a great afternoon despite the heat. Phil tries to keep you in the shade as much as possible. We are looking forward to going on more tours with LA Walking Tours.

My expectation for a tour is that we will be taken places we could not otherwise go on our own, or shown things we would not otherwise find on our own. In the absence of either, I would have expected in-depth information which this tour guide lacked. This "tour" was merely a several block "look-at-that" tour, an unremarkable experience at best.
