We just went here to see a movie. We saw Beauty and the Beast. We sat in the balcony and the show had extra stuff going on to entertain you.

As for my first time there all I could say is MAGICAL! I believe that the price of the ticket is very low comparing to what it offers. We watched "beauty and the beast" and after that we got to see the original costumes and...More

Since Disney reopened the historic El Capitan Theatre (built in the 1920's, along with Graumann's Chinese and Egyptian Theatres) in 1991, they make a very special opening run for all their movies there. The theater gets special decorations for each new film, and there is...More

Love this a theater and this is where all our Disney screenings are seen at. But today, the sound system was SO loud that it affected mine and my children's hearing today. My Daughter's ears were ringing after the 3p.m. show. It was bad enough...More

I was lucky that I came to LA when the box-office movie 'Beauty and The Beast' was on show. And where else could I watch the movie if not at The El Capitan Theatre?! It was like a complete package: watching Disney's movie at Disney's...More

This classic theatre is beautiful, and the Dolby Atmos sound and pre-show or special exhibits that accompany features here give seeing movies here the advantage over other places in the area. However, a recent poor guest service experience will cause me to think twice about...More

We went in thinking this place is going blow us away and it did, art deco all the way. Amazing Hollywood at it's payday. Love the feel of the older theatre, and it nostalgic feel. I felt the souls in room, real Hollywood in this...More

Wow. What a beautiful theater! I wish all theater's looked liked this. It was a nice switch of scenery to watch a movie versus modern day movie theaters. The El Capitan is one of the last remaining movie houses in the U.S. that still shows...More

Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie
stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day,
tourists flock here from around the world to see the
iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to
catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close.
Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas
the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and
hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night
