Enjoyed a play here recently, and loved the entire experience, from the food and drinks served outside, to the beautiful theater. Seating and sound are great!

This is the smallest of the three theaters at the Music Center. I love this small theater because there isn't a bad seat. Seat prices are very reasonable so anyone can go to enjoy a play there. There's on site parking and the fees a...More

Daymark Taper forum is part of the music center in downtown Los Angeles. In the evening this building takes on a completely different character. Also, this is my favorite of the theaters to see something in. Typically the Taper has more experimental plays.

OK--this review is only about the theater itself. People who review a particular play are completely missing the point of reviewing a theater. The Taper underwent a complete remodel about 5 years ago, and they did a very nice job. The seats are very comfortable...More

My friend and I went to see "Heisenberg" at the Taper yesterday. They have newly put seats on the back of the small stage, which puts the players not "in the round", but with seats in front of and behind them. My friend has season...More

All seats are relatively close to the stage. ▪️Seating: Comfortable seating with some legroom. ▪️Play: Archduke, which we thought was only fair. ▪️Bar and Food: Typical. ▪️Cost: Relatively expensive for an...More

I'll leave the perspective of the specific show I saw out, because it will be long gone before you read it. In general the theater has a wide variety of high quality shows. However, having seen a lot of shows in many theaters, I will...More

After hearing a lot of hype, I spent a lot of money to see "The Price," while visiting from the West Coast with my girlfriend. I expected more than one stage set. The set you see when you come in is the same the whole...More

Amazing, wonderful production that brings the story alive. And you cannot get a bad seat in the Mark Taper Forum. If you can still get tickets, GO!

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants
