We thought it would be fun and interesting to walk the Venice Canals Walkway. NOT! While there are some interesting and a few beautiful homes along the canal, the canal itself is repugnant. The water was putrid and dirty, some areas of trash. Throughout the...More

This one pleasure to take in while in the Venice Beach area. A small section of homes away from the beach, between the areas of Venice Beach and Marina del Ray contain a series of watered canals instead of roads. It's a simple grid system...More

I've come here a bunch of times and always see something different. It is peaceful and quiet and so I get into a meditative stroll up and down the waterways. Venice's motto is "keep Venice weird" and so it attracts a 'weird' element. This leads...More

The Venice Canals Walkway is a beautiful, picturesque for a stroll. There are some very cool homes along the canals and the gardens are gorgeous. It was a great to spend an hour or so.

We walked through the canal walkways on the Sunday of the Abbott-Kinney street festival. If no one had mentioned the canals we wouldn't have known they were there and had a great walk admiring the peaceful scenes of water, bridges, houses and gardens. Highly recommended!

Well worth a visit when in the Venice Beach area and if you go on a Friday, the nearby Farmers Market is a great place to pick up some yummy fresh produce.

This is a must see. I've been to this area at least three other times and did not know this existed. Great walking through the three to four streets seeing these canals. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Parking is very tricky, especially on warm...More

Venice has always danced to its own beat as the
epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along
the boardwalk there are street performers and local
craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings,
souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of
visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting
enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders
do their tricks around the skate park. All of it

Sorry, just saw this! Yes, Uber can drop u off right at the walk, and I saw some parents walked with stroller. The whole walk if you want to be at every corner, let’s say under 40 minutes with normal speed

You could have a brief rest on the low wall of the Dell Avenue bridge. It is about the height of a bench. Also, further south on Dell, towards Venice Bl, pop into the park next to the ducks' area! Those are the options. When... More
