This theater might be the most prestigious one in the whole world simply because it hosts every year the OSCARS ceremony awards. It is located on Hollywood Boulevard next to TLC Chinese theater at the walk of fame. You may have a guided tour inside...More

One of the most exciting location in Hollywood even without Hollywood movie stars. Impressive building with exciting winners names along the stairway.

It was interesting to see and feel that you have walked up the same staircase as all the famous movie stars.

Did a tour of the Dolby Theatre and it was interesting. Being an outsider it gave a good perspective as to the size of the theatre and what happens particularly during the Oscars. The tour was enhanced by the delightful guide who made it more...More

I was surprised firstly that this is a modern building so there is not much history attached and secondly that it is actually in the middle of a shopping mall. It's worth seeing if you have the time, but not a prime attraction.

Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie
stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day,
tourists flock here from around the world to see the
iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to
catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close.
Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas
the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and
hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night

3,400 Give or take, if they have the orchestra barred off it would be less. So for instanceright now when Americas Got Talent is on, they have less seatings because the have that area cleared for the judge panel etc..

We stayed at the Holiday in just around the block. Much quieter than staying on Hollywood Blvd. An easy walk to the Dolby theater.
